The customer at Woodened Drive in Glasgow had an old Worcester-Bosch boiler which was coming to the end of its life. It was constantly being repaired by the Worcester engineers until they deemed it unrepairable and condemned the boiler. This left the customer and her family left with no heating or hot water.
The customer did not know any heating companies that would carry out the work and was concerned about who to use, so she asked the Worcester service engineer for a recommendation. The engineer advised that if she was looking for engineers that had pride in their pipework and that would look after her home, to get a quote from LCD Heating & Gas Services as he had been some of our previous jobs and was impressed by our work.
We quoted for the work that same evening and booked the job in for the next available slot. Even though the work was challenging (as the position of the boiler changed to where there was no pipework) it was satisfying taking a step back once completed with the customer who was over the moon and looking at our hard work.
