This was a simple boiler service which we attended only to find out that the boiler flue was so corroded that the family where extremely lucky that we had turned up when we did as it was producing high levels of carbon monoxide. We replaced the flue and serviced the boiler, this was only caught because of the service, the boiler had not been serviced in years and this case shows the importance of regular servicing.
